Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan is an Indianserial drama television series, which aired on Star Plus from September 28, 2015 and ended after 83 episodes, and rebroadcast of the series on Star Utsav in February 2020. The series were based on The Book of Life (2014 film). The series is produced by Balaji Telefilms. It stars Gautam Gupta, Asha Negi and Ali Goni in lead roles. The previous actor portraying the character Koyal, Shritama Mukherjee, was replaced by Asha Negi. And the previous actor portraying Raj, Vibhav Roy, was replaced by Ali Goni. The series is about love and friendship.[1][2][3]
The series has been dubbed into Arabic in the title متاهة الحب (Eng: A Maze of Love) which is currently being broadcast on MBC Bollywood across the Middle-East and Africa.
Summary[edit]
Koyal is a young woman from Jamshedpur who believes that there are two types of people: people who live for someone, and people whom they live for. Madhavan, Raj and Koyal are best friends. Madhavan (Maddy) is the best student in the town, hard working and caring. He is in love with Koyal and can do anything for her happiness. Raj is a flirt and dreams to be a movie star. Koyal is in love with Raj and she does everything for him. In an annual function a famous director insults Raj and selects Koyal as his heroine. But she doesn't want to go to Mumbai leaving her friends. Raj purposely insults Koyal that she can never be a star. Koyal decides to go to Mumbai to prove Raj wrong, but at the last moment, Raj stops Koyal by faking his injury. When Maddy learns about Koyal's lie he is heartbroken, but Koyal and Raj pacify him. Maddy misunderstands Koyal, thinking she likes him. Koyal's sister Tani's marriage is fixed with Maddy's brother Surya. So, Koyal's parents try to make Koyal marry Maddy. When Koyal is informed about it she tells Maddy that she doesn't want to get engaged now. Maddy can do anything for her, so he breaks the alliance himself. Koyal comes to know about Tani is an adopted child and shares it with Raj. On the engagement ceremony, Raj discloses the truth to everyone and Surya breaks the alliance. Koyal is very upset with Raj and tells him that she never wants to see his face. But it was Tani's plan. On that day Maddy proposes Koyal but Koyal says that she loves Raj. When Koyal learns about Tani and Raj's plan, she bring Raj home and says that she wants to marry him. Raj also admits that he loves Koyal. Their alliance is fixed but Koyal's parents are not happy. They try to break the alliance and make Koyal patch up with Maddy. There is something which Koyal's parents are hiding and no one knows about it. It's revealed that Koyal is the adopted child and not Tani. Koyal is really Tani and Tani is really Koyal.
The story ends with Koyal reuniting with Maddy.
